We are an independent veterinary practice located in the beautiful South West Devonshire coast, seeking a highly skilled Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Veterinary Nurse to work in our busy practice, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional patient care, including theatre, nurse consults, general duties, and inpatient care.
  • Work collaboratively with our experienced veterinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Participate in our OOH service, providing pragmatic triage of emergency calls overnight.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of our practice's nursing protocols and procedures.

What We Offer

  • A competitive salary, ranging from £27,967 to £40,300 per year, depending on experience.
  • 20 days holiday plus Bank Holidays off, increasing with length of service.
  • OOH rota 1:5 with paid time off before and following shift.
  • CPD encouraged and RCVS membership paid.

  • Paid sick leave.

Requirements

  • Certificate of Higher Education (preferred).
  • Veterinary Nurse experience (1 year preferred).
  • RCVS registration number (preferred).

Work Environment

We are proud to boast an experienced team who enjoy a good work-life balance. Our practice has multiple consult rooms, operating theatre, DR x-ray, ultrasound, and in-house lab. We also have facilities for CT scans, dental x-rays, endoscopy, and orthopaedic surgery.
