About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Executive Director of Manufacturing Operations to lead our global manufacturing operations and drive business growth. As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Strategy
    • Develop and implement global manufacturing strategies to achieve business objectives
    • Lead cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence and improve productivity
    • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement business plans and strategies
  • Operational Excellence
    • Develop and implement processes to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs
    • Lead initiatives to enhance product quality and reduce defects
    • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive business improvement
  • Global Sourcing and Supply Chain
    • Develop and implement global sourcing strategies to ensure cost competitiveness and quality
    • Lead cross-functional teams to manage global supply chain operations
    • Collaborate with suppliers to drive quality and cost improvements
  • Change Management and Communication
    • Develop and implement change management strategies to drive cultural and behavioral changes
    • Lead communication efforts to ensure transparency and engagement with stakeholders
    • Collaborate with HR to develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Master's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
    • Minimum 10 years of experience in manufacturing operations, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Proven track record of driving operational excellence and business growth
    • Strong leadership and change management skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to analyze complex data and drive business decisions
    • Fluency in English and German
