Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our Adult Mental Health team in North Wales. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in a specialist area of practice and contribute to the development of our services.

Main Duties
  • Deliver client-centred and specialist assessments and interventions to adults with serious mental illness.
  • Work as part of a proactive team to develop clinical skills and effectiveness across the adult mental health pathway.
  • Contribute to service development duties, including attending meetings and leading in audit, evidence-based practice research, and service evaluation.
  • Supervise and develop junior staff, and take Occupational Therapy students on Practice Education placements.
Requirements

The successful candidate will have relevant experience and knowledge of mental health Occupational Therapy for adults with serious mental illness, and be able to effectively use tailored interventions and establish and harness community networks to facilitate the recovery journey.
