ROLE OVERVIEW
- Welcome guests and ascertain the size of their party.
- Assign seating by locating a clean, available table; pulling out chairs; and placing a clean menu in front of each guest.
- Assist guests in navigating the dining area and provide any necessary support.
- Rearrange tables, chairs, and settings as needed, accommodating groups with special requirements.
- Ensure that place settings are correct and that each guest has a napkin, clean cutlery, and any other standard items.
- Verify that menus are up-to-date, clean, and in good condition.
- Maintain cleanliness in work areas throughout the day, adhering to clean-as-you-go practices.
- Observe the dining area for seating availability, service quality, safety, and guest satisfaction.
