About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team at a Primary School in Craven Arms. As a key member of the school community, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of children aged 3-11.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with groups of children, providing individualized support and guidance to enhance their learning experience.
  • Follow instructions and guidance from the class teacher to ensure a smooth and effective learning environment.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of children in and out of the classroom, including supervision during playtime and lunchtime.
  • Prepare classroom materials, including cutting, sticking, photocopying, and laminating.
  • Observe and provide feedback to the class teacher on children's learning progress.
  • Effectively manage off-task behaviors and maintain a positive learning environment.
About You

We are looking for an individual with:

Experience working with children or adults in a caring capacity.Transferable skills such as teamwork, initiative, flexibility, adaptability, and remaining calm under pressure.Experience working with students with challenging behavior.An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (we can assist you in applying for this).About Us
