Job Title: Android Software Development Engineer

RMS Recruitment is seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join a dynamic team in Stockton-on-Tees. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a fast-growing, innovative company that values operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented Software Engineer to collaborate on the end-to-end development of our software platform. The successful candidate will work closely with UI/UX designers to iterate and develop new features, continuously improve the platform to enhance user experience and operational efficiency, and conduct testing, troubleshooting, and debugging to ensure the reliability and performance of the platform.

About the Role:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy software solutions.
  • Work with UI/UX designers to create user-centered designs and iterate on new features.
  • Continuously improve the platform to enhance user experience and operational efficiency.
  • Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and debugging to ensure the reliability and performance of the platform.
  • Provide ongoing post-launch support and contribute to post-launch analysis for product improvement.
Requirements:
  • Experience building web applications from scratch in a production environment.
  • Experience in server-side programming languages such as Python or PHP.
  • Understanding of relational databases and SQL.
  • Comprehensive front-end development skills using HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
  • Passion for both client-side and server-side development.
  • Team player with a positive attitude and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable:
  • Previous experience in server administration.
  • Understanding and experience in building secure RESTful APIs.
  • Experience in building Mobile Applications for iOS and Android.
