Job Description

Job Title: Financial Controller - ERP Implementation Specialist

Salary: £65,000 - £85,000 per annum

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join our client, a rapidly expanding manufacturer, in a key role that will see you developing and implementing new business systems as well as managing the day-to-day finances of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement new business systems to improve financial performance and efficiency
  • Manage the day-to-day finances of the business, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
  • Implement and maintain an ERP system to streamline financial processes and improve data accuracy
  • Lead margin improvement projects and initiatives across the organization
  • Prepare monthly management accounts and other required financial information
  • Investigate and explain account variances to budget and expectations
  • Supervise and manage the finance team to ensure effective and efficient task completion
  • Balance sheet reconciliations performed monthly with reconciling items fully investigated
  • Manage cash flow daily with formal 13-week forecasting on a regular basis
  • Establish and implement financial reporting processes to ensure timely and accurate financial transactions
  • Prepare annual budgets in conjunction with the Managing Director

Requirements:

  • Proficient at change management and successfully implementing ERP systems
  • Qualified accountant (e.g. ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
  • Several years of experience in a business environment
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to communicate with all levels of the business
  • Strong analytical and logic problem-solving skills
  • Excellent Excel skills and the ability to manipulate significant amounts of data
  • Experience of managing others and working as part of a team
  • Self-motivation and commitment to supporting new processes and change
