About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Programme Manager to join our team at Leidos Innovations UK Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a set of programmes under the Intelligent Approach Product, which includes support programmes to current customers, new development programmes for existing and new customers, and business development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full portfolio of Intelligent Approach programmes and projects, ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop robust plans to meet programme and customer commitments, and track performance against plan.
  • Identify and mitigate blockers, and manage risks, issues, and opportunities.
  • Effectively communicate status to portfolio leadership and stakeholders.
  • Operate in a highly collaborative environment, both independently and integrated into large teams.
  • Ensure robust change management to the programme of projects.
  • Manage key stakeholders to align expectations, including senior executives in Leidos, customers, and partners.
  • Ensure all required programme status and oversight is captured.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of managing complex projects and programmes, including software development in a highly disciplined environment.
  • Good interpersonal skills and judgement for dealing with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to engage effectively within a multi-functional programme team.
  • Able to demonstrate a sound understanding of business, finance, and personnel management techniques.
  • Ability to communicate, negotiate, and influence effectively at all levels.
  • Ability to motivate and develop staff.

Desirable Experience

  • Business development experience.
  • Air traffic management knowledge would be advantageous.
  • Full software lifecycle experience, including Agile development and testing.
  • Understanding of assurance requirements applied to system development.
