Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated Science Teacher

Location: Birmingham

Hours: part time / maternity cover

We are looking for a passionate and creative teacher to join our thriving Science department. The ideal candidate will have a love for their subject, be able to motivate and inspire students, and further support the achievements of the department.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher or Early Careers Teacher with the right skill set to build and develop their career. We are looking for a teacher who is self-motivated, able to plan and deliver creative lessons, and has excellent ICT skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dedication with a high aspiration and ambition for all pupils
  • QTS with classroom experience
  • Ability to plan and deliver creative lessons across key stage 3 and 4 including the delivery of GCSE and vocational qualifications
  • Hard working and self-sufficient with the ability to lead on own area of specialism
  • Excellent ICT skills
  • A willingness to lead extra-curricular activities linked to STEM
