About the Role

In this position, you will be tasked with the upkeep, servicing, and repair of a varied fleet of heavy goods vehicles. Your responsibilities will include diagnosing issues, conducting regular inspections, and ensuring that all vehicles meet safety and roadworthiness standards. Your skills will play a crucial role in upholding the high quality of our client's transportation services, guaranteeing reliability and efficiency.

Working Hours
  • Monday to Friday
  • Alternate Saturdays
  • 40 hours per week
Key Duties
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy goods vehicles
  • Diagnose and resolve vehicle issues
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations
  • Maintain detailed records of work completed
Key Requirements
  • NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent
  • Proven experience as a Heavy Goods Vehicle Technician
  • Strong diagnostic abilities
  • Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively
  • Full UK driving licence (HGV licence preferred)
