Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer

CBW Staffing Solutions is seeking a skilled Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer to join our team and play a key role in expanding our operations in the commercial sector.

About the Role
  • As a Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer, you will be responsible for providing commercial air conditioning maintenance and general building services to our clients.
  • You will join our existing mobile maintenance team and work with a leading retail brand to carry out service and breakdowns on air conditioning, HVAC, and refrigeration plant.
Responsibilities
  • Perform PPM and reactive maintenance on air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
  • Service and maintain split systems, VRV's, VAV's, VRF's, AHU's, FCU's, chillers, and all HVAC and refrigeration plant.
  • Conduct electrical work and possess extensive building services knowledge.
  • Work on a mix of air conditioning and general building maintenance, with 75% of the work focused on air conditioning.
Requirements
  • NVQ Level 2 & 3 Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (minimum)
  • FGas 2079 Cat 1 (essential)
  • Experience in a maintenance or facilities management environment
  • Knowledge of health and safety, permit to work procedures, and safe systems of working
  • Ability to perform manual tasks, including manual handling, working at heights, and in confined spaces
  • On-call rota (1 in 6)
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to use a mobile device
  • Self-motivated and solutions-focused with the ability to work without supervision but also enjoy working as part of a team
  • Full driver's license
