Venesky-Brown's client, a public sector organisation in Edinburgh, is currently seeking an IT Helpdesk & 2nd Line Support professional for an initial 6-month contract with potential to extend on a rate of £191/day (Outside IR35). This role offers hybrid working.

Key Responsibilities:

* Maintain a list of assigned calls to deliver a high level of service 2nd line incident resolution, including device deployment and asset management.
* Utilize technical knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10 and SCCM to build machines and resolve technical issues.
* Leverage proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook, in Office 2016 and Office 365.

Requirements:

* Recent experience in providing first and second line support in a large, networked environment.
* Experience in supporting smartphones, tablets, laptops, and remote users.
* Familiarity with incident management software packages, preferably Assyst, to record incidents and update configuration items.
