Job Title: Production Team Leader

RMS Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Production Team Leader to join our client's team. As a key member of the production team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the production process.

About the Role:
  • Co-ordinate tasks within the shift to ensure work plans are completed in a timely manner.
  • Escalate any issues or potential roadblocks and adjust the sequence of plans accordingly.
  • Maintain shift-related information in shop-floor management.
  • Be responsible for maintaining the SFM meeting point boards and report results and implement necessary improvements.
  • Record and work through instances of waste and any potential improvements within production and the organisational structures.
  • Ensure team members are compliant with all workplace instructions and procedures.
  • Responsible for the instruction and training of employees in conjunction with the T&D department.
  • Ensure and comply with all work-related regulations including Quality & Awareness and Health & Safety.
  • Update and maintain machines and personnel capacity requirements in SAP system.
  • Responsible for inventory accuracies within the zonal areas in line with MRP.
  • Undertake Audits.
  • Ensure information on the Work Order/SAP system are aligned with material consumption and highlight any discrepancies to relevant personnel in a timely manner.
About You:
  • The ideal candidate will have previous experience in 1st line supervisory management with the ability to motivate and support team members effectively.
  • The ideal candidate will be Confident, Driven, self-motivated and able to multi-task.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced deadline driven environment.
  • The ideal candidate will have previous experience of SAP transactions.
  • The ideal candidate will have Strong MS Excel skills along with a good working knowledge of Word, Teams and Outlook.
