We are seeking a highly skilled Polymer Electrolyte Scientist to join our client's team in the development of innovative electrolyte materials and systems for high energy density sodium metal batteries.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Design and develop novel electrolyte materials with improved performance and safety characteristics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new materials into battery systems.
  • Conduct experiments and analyze data to optimize electrolyte formulations and manufacturing processes.
  • Develop and implement testing protocols to evaluate electrolyte performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Work with the team to identify and execute testing metrics to shorten the cycle of learning.
  • Lead technical discussions and influence peers to drive innovation and progress.
  • Develop and maintain intellectual property related to electrolyte materials and systems.
  • Contribute to the development of mixture DOE and cell assembly, cell test, and data analysis.
  • Work with moisture sensitive materials in a glovebox or dry room.

**Requirements**

  • Doctorate in chemistry or materials science with 4+ years of industrial/academic experience.
  • Demonstrated passion for the mobile energy space.
