We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Safety Specialist to join our team at PD&MS. As a key member of our safety team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety of our operations and projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement safety strategies and procedures to minimize risks and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and safety studies to identify potential hazards and develop mitigation plans.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure safety considerations are integrated into project planning and execution.
  • Provide technical safety expertise and guidance to project teams, including the development of safety cases and risk assessments.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in safety engineering and risk management.
Requirements
  • Significant experience in safety engineering and risk management, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
  • Strong technical knowledge of safety systems, including fire and gas detection, emergency response, and hazardous area classification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering results and meeting deadlines.
  • Relevant qualifications, such as a degree in a safety-related field or a professional certification in safety engineering.
