Position Overview
Thorn Baker Industrial is seeking a skilled Paint Application Specialist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. This role primarily involves working in a workshop environment, focusing on the spray finishing of various furniture items and retail displays.
Key Responsibilities
As a Paint Application Specialist, your duties will include:
• Utilizing spray painting techniques to enhance furniture and display items.
• Collaborating with team members to ensure high-quality finishes.
• Maintaining a clean and organized workspace in accordance with health and safety standards.
• Experimenting with different paint products and finishes to achieve desired results.
Essential Qualifications
• Minimum of GCSE Grade C or equivalent in English and Maths.
• At least 3 years of experience in a spray painting role.
• Strong understanding of various paint types and willingness to explore new products.
• Awareness of COSHH regulations or training.
• Detail-oriented with a passion for diverse tasks.
• Ability to work additional hours as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in furniture spray finishing using a variety of paint types.
Skills Required
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a team.
• Proficiency in painting techniques.
