Fetal Sonographer – Leading Women's Health Service

We are seeking an ambitious and enthusiastic Fetal Sonographer to set up and lead our sonographer-led Fetal Medicine service. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), auditing, and managing complex ultrasound equipment. You will also liaise with our commercial and marketing teams, as well as network with key stakeholders and GP practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement SOPs for fetal ultrasound scanning
  • Manage and maintain complex ultrasound equipment
  • Liaise with commercial and marketing teams
  • Network with key stakeholders and GP practices

Requirements:

  • 5+ years' experience in obstetrics and gynaecology ultrasound
  • Experience working at Band 7 level or equivalent
  • Evidence of academic achievement at a Master's degree level
  • Fully competent in all fetal ultrasound scanning, including transvaginal, Doppler, and Nuchal translucency
  • Registered Radiographer with HCPC or Registered Midwife with NMC registration (desired but not essential)
