Chief Engineer

Mars Recruitment is partnering with a leading manufacturer of scientific instrumentation to find a talented Head of Engineering (NPD | Mechanical) to drive innovation and growth.

As Head of Engineering (NPD | Mechanical), you will be responsible for leading a small but growing R&D team, comprising five staff, and overseeing the development of new products and projects. Your goal will be to get new products to market and achieve project deadlines.

You will have full accountability for Engineering and NPD, and your technical oversight and leadership will be crucial in getting involved with the design elements of the products and managing overall project management.

• Lead a team of engineers and product developers to design and develop new products and projects
• Oversee the development of new products and projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality
• Provide technical oversight and leadership to the team, including recruitment, training, and mentoring
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and growth
