Quest Search & Selection is seeking a skilled Buyer to join a leading supplier in the fashion and footwear industry. This role will focus on own-label womenswear and support the Buying Director in developing and delivering a commercially focused product range.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the Junior Merchandiser to source, develop, and deliver a well-balanced product range that meets customer expectations.
- Develop ranges to maximize sales and profit, aligned with the brand's market position and value.
- Attend sign-off meetings to ensure a consistent and commercial product range.
- Work closely with merchandising, design, and QA teams to achieve business objectives.
- Negotiate with suppliers and factories to manage margins and build long-term relationships.
- Build effective working relationships across the business and develop team members at a BAA/AB level.
- At least + years of Buying experience in a junior buyer or buyer role.
- Ability to relocate to the UK or be based in Lancashire/Cumbria/Scottish regions.
- Ideal experience in fashion, accessories, or footwear, but other categories will be considered.
- Previous involvement in NPD.
- Strong communication, presentation, and influencing skills.
- Salary between £45,000 - £55,000.
