Job Overview

Buckden Partners is a leading specialist SME lender seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Loan Processing Administrator to join our Processing Team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the team by carrying out administrator, data entry, and quality checking duties to ensure smooth and efficient loan processing for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce, issue, and check drawdown instructions for loans
  • Create lender allocation tables for each loan
  • Generate repayment schedules, showing monthly repayments due with a breakdown of capital and interest payments
  • Monitor monthly repayments received and liaise with the monitoring department to investigate and resolve any outstanding payments
  • Monitor loans with agreed variances to agreed repayment schedules
  • Calculate and issue early redemption figures as required
  • Support the Loan Operations team to investigate and resolve any issues relating to lender accounts
  • Distribute monthly loan repayments into lender accounts
  • Produce various Management Information reports

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Identify, report, and investigate any potential errors or breaches
  • Collaborate with the IT department and third parties to test and provide feedback on the efficiency of IT systems
  • Collate new loans once they are credit approved
  • Support in the production and distribution of various Management Information
  • Handle documentation required during the term of the loan
  • Collate loan documentation prior to drawdown
  • Manage administrative email enquiries and redirect them accordingly
  • Undertake any other activities as required

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills with a positive attitude
  • Good organizational skills
  • Strong Excel skills with an understanding of basic formulas
  • Self-motivated with a can-do attitude to resolve issues and support colleagues
  • Ability to adapt and change to meet the requirements of an expanding business

Working Arrangements:

The successful candidate will be required to work 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.
