- Cleanse and process data to ensure accuracy and reliability in analysis.
- Apply statistical methods to interpret and validate findings, driving data-driven decision-making.
- Develop comprehensive reports to effectively communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Stay abreast of the latest industry trends, tools, and techniques in data analytics.
- Implement and maintain data quality assurance processes to ensure the reliability of analytical outputs.
- Proficiency in R programming, ideally with expertise in ggplot2 and tidyverse.
- Advanced spreadsheeting skills, preferably with experience in Google Sheets and Excel.
- A passion for data analytics and a desire to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- A Bachelor's degree in a data-oriented field (statistics, econometrics, economics, etc.) or several years of relevant experience in data analysis using the aforementioned software.
- Previous experience with SQL/Sequel programming language.
- Experience in creating compelling visualizations using tools like Tableau, PowerBI, or Grafana.
- Experience in data manipulation, management, and reporting.
- Adept at solving analytical problems with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to convey technical findings to non-technical audiences.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively within a team.
- A passion and understanding of sports and sports betting markets/odds.
