Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Building Services Engineer to join our team at Gap Technical. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our client's facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Planned Preventative Maintenance: Carry out and complete to the highest standards the Planned Preventative Maintenance CMMS system requirements for site.
  • Maintenance Record Keeping: Compile and maintain up to date Maintenance records.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that the area complies with statutory Health and Safety requirements working under the direction of the site Health and Safety officer.
  • Engineering Downtime: Accurately record and report all engineering downtime daily.
  • Mechanical Maintenance: Undertake planned and reactive mechanical maintenance duties and repairs to assets, such as mechanical plant and associated equipment and infrastructure.
  • Service Delivery: Assist and improve service delivery through the effective use of systems, equipment, and processes.
  • Method Statements and Risk Assessments: Develop and evaluate method statements and risk assessments.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Have a proactive approach in ensuring all plant and equipment is completely operational and fit for purpose.
  • Spare Parts Management: Ensure spares and equipment are acquired on a timely basis to ensure minimal interruption to equipment and infrastructure.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Any other ad-hoc exercises as directed by the Site Services Manager.
