Overview:
We are excited to present a new opportunity for a Site Manager to join Footprint Recruitment, overseeing various new construction projects in the Lancaster area. This role is crucial for ensuring that our site teams are motivated, supported, and effectively managed to meet the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental performance.

Key Responsibilities:
As the Site Manager, your primary duties will include:
  • Leading and inspiring the site-based team to achieve project goals.
  • Ensuring adherence to the company's health and safety and environmental policies.
  • Collaborating with the Project Manager and Area Build Manager to develop and adjust the master build programme according to budgetary constraints.
  • Monitoring the progress of construction activities to ensure compliance with established methods and timelines, implementing corrective measures as necessary.
  • Managing site resources, including equipment, personnel, and subcontractors.
  • Addressing inquiries from trades and taking appropriate actions.
  • Overseeing the recruitment and onboarding of new team members in line with best practices.
  • Conducting performance appraisals and liaising with HR to identify development needs.
  • Evaluating the performance and effectiveness of direct reports.
