Job Title: Chef Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef Manager to join our team at WSH Group. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional dining experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Menu Planning and Execution: Develop and implement menus that meet the needs and preferences of our customers, while maintaining high-quality standards and controlling food costs.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, train, and supervise a team of chefs, cooks, and front-of-house staff, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to ensure excellent service delivery.
  • Inventory and Cost Control: Monitor and manage stock levels, ordering supplies, and implementing cost-saving initiatives to optimize kitchen efficiency and profitability.
  • Customer Relations: Build strong relationships with customers to understand their specific catering needs and preferences, providing exceptional service and addressing any concerns or requirements.
  • Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and food safety protocols, creating a safe and healthy work environment for all staff.
  • Budget and Financial Management: Develop and manage kitchen budgets, reporting on financial performance and implementing cost-saving initiatives to maintain profitability.
  • Menu Development and Innovation: Stay up-to-date with culinary trends and incorporate new ideas into menus, ensuring that our offerings remain fresh and exciting.
  • Compliance and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of inventory, orders, and food preparation processes, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong track record of success in menu planning, staff management, and inventory control.
  • Excellent culinary skills, with a passion for creating high-quality dishes and menus.
  • Leadership and team management abilities, with a focus on developing and motivating staff to achieve exceptional service delivery.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and staff.
  • Proficiency in food cost management, with a focus on controlling costs and optimizing kitchen efficiency.
  • Knowledge of food safety and health and safety regulations, with a focus on creating a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Ability to adapt and work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering exceptional service and meeting customer needs.
