Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced English Teacher to join our team at a secondary school in Northampton. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4 students, with a focus on achieving excellent results for higher-level ability students.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' relevant UK classroom teaching experience and hold QTS. They will be expected to display excellent classroom management skills, be confident in managing challenging behaviour, and be able to adapt to the needs of the whole classroom.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teaching GCSE English to Key Stage 3-4 students
  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons to meet the needs of all pupils
  • Managing challenging behaviour and maintaining a positive classroom environment
  • Collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies

Requirements:

  • English Teacher with QTS
  • Minimum 2 years' relevant UK classroom teaching experience
  • Excellent classroom management skills
  • Ability to adapt to the needs of the whole classroom
