Our client is a leading expert in industrial automation, specializing in robotics and the aerospace sector. Based in the beautiful region of Sheffield, they have established a world-class reputation for providing innovative solutions to complex industrial challenges.
The RoleWe are seeking a skilled Mechanical Build Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our team, you will support the next phase of our ambitious project delivery. Your responsibilities will include critically reviewing technical drawings and constructing high-quality, custom electromechanical automation systems, ensuring they meet specifications and adhere to strict safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Build and test bespoke electromechanical automation systems
- Review and interpret technical mechanical drawings
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Identify and resolve electrical faults
- Travel to client sites for system installations
We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in mechanical engineering, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently. You should be proficient in reading and understanding technical mechanical drawings and have a good understanding of industrial systems, particularly safety systems.
