Manufacturing Engineer - Automation & Robotics

Orion Electrotech is seeking a talented Manufacturing Engineer with a passion for automation and robotics to drive cutting-edge automation projects in our manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and implement innovative automation and robotic systems to streamline production processes.
  2. Identify opportunities to automate processes, improve quality, and increase efficiency across the manufacturing floor.
  3. Troubleshoot automation systems and recommend solutions for repairs or upgrades to ensure optimal performance.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure automation solutions meet both operational needs and industry regulations.
  5. Support New Product Introduction (NPI) by optimizing designs for automation and developing inspection strategies using the latest vision and sensor technologies.
Requirements:
  1. 3+ years of Manufacturing Engineering experience in Automation or Robotics.
  2. Advanced skills in RAPID programming and C++.
  3. Hands-on experience with robotic assembly line simulations and sensor vision systems (Cognex, Keyence).
  4. Excellent communication and project management abilities.
Qualifications:
  1. Degree Educated in an Engineering discipline.
  2. Expertise with RAPID, Solidworks, TIA Portal, and Robot Studio.
  3. Certified in PLC programming and Six Sigma methodologies.
