Job Title: Social Housing Labourer

Salary: £29,000 - £30,000 + van and fuel card

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on social housing properties to ensure they are safe and secure for residents.
  2. Assist with renovation and refurbishment projects to improve the quality of life for residents.
  3. Perform regular inspections to identify maintenance needs and address them promptly.
  4. Address plumbing, electrical, and carpentry issues as required to prevent further damage.
  5. Ensure the safety and security of work sites and residents by following all safety protocols and guidelines.
  6. Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure seamless project execution.
  7. Collaborate with contractors and other professionals as needed to achieve project goals.
  8. Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.

Qualifications:

  1. Previous experience in general labor or maintenance work is preferred, but not required.
  2. Knowledge of basic construction and repair tasks is essential for success in this role.
  3. Strong work ethic and a commitment to quality work are essential for delivering exceptional results.
  4. Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions is crucial for success in this role.
  5. Good communication skills are necessary for effective collaboration with team members and management.
