Job Description:

We are seeking a qualified Group Financial Accountant to join our high-growth, North West based business. As a Group Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for group consolidation, balance sheet, and cash flow. You will collaborate with the Group FD to ensure accurate and timely completion of group accounting and reporting tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of statutory accounts for subsidiary companies
  • Managing inter-company reconciliations
  • Consolidating forecasts, budgets, and long-term plans, along with supplementary group reporting including cashflow and net working capital analysis
  • Coordinating management reporting packs
  • Handling corporation tax accounting and submissions
  • Coordinating the annual external audit process and ensuring compliance with statutory reporting obligations
  • Providing training and guidance to the Management Accounts team and supporting with technical finance matters
  • Acting as a key contact for Group Finance and mentoring the Assistant Reporting Accountant

Requirements:

  • ACA or ACCA qualified
  • Experience in Audit
  • Current knowledge of IFRS
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Ability to influence colleagues at all levels
  • Experience of supporting and embedding the financial elements of transformational change
  • Full understanding of the compliance and legislation associated with financial reporting
