Infrastructure Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Specialist to join our team at Pilgrim's Europe. As a key member of our IT department, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our distributed infrastructure environment.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement scalable and secure infrastructure solutions across on-premise and cloud environments.
- Provide specialist technical support and expertise to ensure the smooth operation of our IT services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements and cost savings.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base to ensure continuity and knowledge sharing.
- Participate in the design authority process for all IT decisions, ensuring alignment with our technology strategy.
- Monitor and review service performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant ITIL processes and procedures.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a specialist architecture/support/delivery role in a medium to large organisation.
- Deep technical knowledge of VMware, Nutanix, Active Directory, and other relevant technologies.
- Experience in architecting, designing, configuring, implementing, developing, and supporting complex solutions.
- ITIL qualified or experience gained from managing in an IT service management environment.
- Formally qualified in IT, either through a primary degree, postgraduate masters, or professionally.
