Are you ready to take on a challenging role in shaping the future of our projects? We're looking for a talented Principal ICA Engineer to join our team in Bristol, where you'll play a vital part in every aspect of instrumentation and control/automation engineering on Transformational Programmes for critical UK infrastructure.

We specialize in all aspects of instrumentation and control/automation, working with multiple sectors such as Water, Aviation, Defence, Energy, Cities & Development, and Education. Our team provides industry-leading engineering solutions throughout the project lifecycle, with value added through client-side support and construction phases.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team to undertake technical design work following relevant design standards and codes, and to high-quality levels.
  • Successfully manage time and budgets to key project milestones and programmes.
  • Work closely with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions.
  • Adhere to quality assurance standards in design.
What We're Looking For
  • Chartered Electrical/Instrumentation Engineer.
  • Sound knowledge of ICA design (instrumentation, PLC and SCADA systems), motor control systems, system architecture, fieldbus/communication networks, P&ID's, ATEX installation practice, functional safety, development of control specifications (URS/FDS), schedules, and system requirements within a process/industrial environment.
  • Proficiency in designing within appropriate digital analysis packages, following applicable standards, working practices, and national guidance.
