Role Overview

Vallum Associates is seeking a highly skilled Data Architect to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing data storage solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deploy, support, and administer Databricks in the Cloud, ensuring seamless data management and processing.
  • Manage cluster and jobs configuration options, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data storage solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including guides on setting up Databricks on Cloud and considerations for migrating workloads.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, applying knowledge to improve data storage and processing capabilities.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in data administration, with a strong background in Databricks and cloud computing.
  • Proven experience as a Databricks account owner, managing workspaces, audit logs, and high-level usage monitoring.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of GCP and Kubernetes, with experience in setting up Databricks environments.
