We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to join our client's team in Washington. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising a team of 15 operators and 1 team leader, managing a downstream process department, and introducing continuous improvement and 5S within the team and department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage a team of 15 operators and 1 team leader to ensure efficient production processes.
  • Manage a downstream process department, including planning, organizing, and controlling resources to meet production targets.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and safety within the team and department.
  • Monitor and manage outputs and performance across machinery and labor, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of supervisory experience in a similar manufacturing environment.
  • Good knowledge of implementing continuous improvement within a business.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to work.
