Housing Enforcement Specialist

We are partnering with a Local Authority in the UK to assist with the appointment of a Housing Enforcement Officer, on a 3-month contract, with potential for extension. Please submit your CV for consideration.

Compensation: £40.00 per hour

Responsibilities:

  • Issuance of Housing Health and Safety Rating System (HHSRS) certificates
  • Recent experience in enforcement activities under the Housing Act 2004, including drafting and issuing enforcement notices, financial penalties, magistrates' court, and first-tier tribunal
  • Recent experience in conducting housing inspections, identifying Category 1 hazards, and remedying Category 1 hazards

  • Availability to start immediately or on short notice is required
  • Right to work in the UK is necessary
  • An enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check is required
