Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Software Developer to join our Technology, Data, and Software Development (TDSD) teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing cutting-edge software solutions using a mixture of commercial and open-source software.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop software solutions using C#.NET web-based application development
  • Design and implement databases using PostgreSQL and/or Microsoft SQL Server
  • Work with GIS technologies, including QGIS, ArcGIS, and FME
  • Develop API interfaces with third-party APIs
  • Implement Hangfire background services
  • Collaborate with the team to design and develop software solutions
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure high-quality code
  • Mentor and coach less experienced developers
  • Assist in line management duties

Requirements

  • Proven commercial experience in C#.NET web-based application development
  • Experience with PostgreSQL and/or Microsoft SQL Server databases
  • Knowledge of GIS technologies, including QGIS, ArcGIS, and FME
  • Experience with API development and interfacing with third-party APIs
  • Experience with Hangfire background services
  • Strong understanding of agile principles and methodologies
  • Experience with source control and process management
