We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced architect to provide academic support and mentorship to a talented architecture student embarking on her university studies.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing continuous, specialized support to the student, addressing academic inquiries, coursework challenges, and exam preparation. The Tutor will also facilitate wider architectural education and internship opportunities, either within their own practice or through prestigious architectural firms.
Key Responsibilities- Provide academic support and mentorship to the student throughout her university journey
- Assist the student with understanding complex course materials, preparing for exams, and tackling specific coursework challenges
- Facilitate internships and provide opportunities for hands-on, practical experience in the field of architecture
- Offer guidance and support during key academic periods, such as midterms, finals, and major project deadlines
The ideal candidate will be a recently qualified professional architect with a stable home life, bringing a nurturing and home-care element to the role. A family-oriented approach can offer a stable and supportive environment conducive to learning. The Tutor should be a good role model, educated and polished, with excellent manners and personal values.
What We OfferThe Tutor will receive a minimum of 9 weeks of holiday per annum, with breaks scheduled in consultation with the student and her academic calendar. The Client will ensure the Tutor has private accommodation during travel, and all expenses will be covered for such trips.
