Role Overview
As the Risk Reporting Manager within the Enterprise Risk Management division, you will play a crucial role in shaping and enhancing the firm’s risk reporting processes. This position is pivotal in establishing a comprehensive risk reporting framework that encompasses both quantitative risk analytics and risk appetite assessments across all service lines.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development of a comprehensive risk reporting framework, integrating both financial and non-financial risk metrics.
- Prepare and present risk reports to various forums, including senior management and executive committees.
- Drive the integration of enterprise risk reporting throughout the organization.
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of essential reporting tools.
- Act as the primary contact for the internal Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) system.
- Coordinate and compile risk reporting from various service lines and business units.
- Foster a culture of high-quality risk management reporting and frameworks across the organization.
- Facilitate the identification and reporting of emerging risks and trends across service lines.
- Monitor key risk indicators for both financial and non-financial risks.
- Promote a culture of informed risk reporting through effective training and communication.
- Provide expert guidance on risk management practices and assist in the mitigation of significant risk exposures.
- Conduct oversight of Risk Management Information to ensure accuracy and relevance.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience in report writing and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with SAAS, PowerBI, and the Microsoft suite.
- Ability to efficiently analyze and organize large datasets.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
- Experience in engaging with senior stakeholders and providing independent challenge.
- Solid understanding of enterprise-wide risk management principles.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a risk management role within the financial services sector.
- Ability to maintain composure and control in high-pressure situations while managing urgent deadlines.
