Teaching Personnel: Cover Supervisor Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Cover Supervisor in secondary schools across York. As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for delivering lessons in the absence of the class teacher, ensuring a smooth and engaging learning experience for students.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Confidence in leading classes and managing student behavior
  • A BSc or BA Degree with a subject specialism
  • Previous experience leading classes or a willingness to complete volunteer days to increase experience
  • An Enhanced Child Only DBS registered with the Update Service
  • Flexibility to work across KS3 – KS4 classes
  • Good behavior management skills

This is a temporary position, with the option to become permanent in the future.
