Job Title: Architectural Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Architectural Project Manager to join our team at Working Solutions Recruitment. As an Architectural Project Manager, you will be responsible for securing projects for our client and their sub-contractor partners through specifications by cultivating key relationships with architects, façade consultants, quantity surveyors, and main contractors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop strong relationships with architects, façade consultants, and main contractors within the area to promote products and their capabilities.
  • Target selected specifying outlets in a designated area to expand the existing specifier base.
  • Obtain leads on potential business using external resources and working closely with the Lead Management team.
  • Provide technical support to architects/contractors and Partners in the design and bidding phase of projects.
  • Maintain close communication with other APMs and BDMs to maximize potential to secure orders for customers.
  • Keep the National Specification Manager advised on movements and submit monthly reports in a timely manner.
Requirements:
  • Degree-level calibre or equivalent in experience with a technical background (e.g., civil engineering).
  • Previous experience in dealing with architects in the target area, particularly on matters relating to design and specification.
  • Previous experience with the design/construction of facades or building envelopes and familiarity with related structural issues.
  • Familiarity with the construction industry in general and the technical/commercial processes central to significant projects.
  • A proven track record of successful business development.
