About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Commercial Finance Manager to join our team at The Very Group. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for driving business performance and improving profitability across our Retail division.

As a Senior Commercial Finance Manager, you will work closely with our senior management team to deliver in-year performance and future strategic ambitions. You will provide financial insight and commercial acumen to drive growth, optimize costs, and support decision-making at the executive level.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide financial analysis and insights to inform business decisions
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning and forecasting
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business performance and improve profitability
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks and opportunities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including senior management and external partners

About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Commercial Finance Manager who possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will have a strong background in finance, with a minimum of 3 years post-qualified experience. You will be a self-starter with the confidence to provide opinion and the desire to develop highly productive stakeholder relationships.

  • Qualified accountant with minimum 3 years post-qualified experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
