Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

As an Estates Surveyor, your primary duties will include:

  • Managing daily estate operations for both freehold and leasehold properties
  • Negotiating lease renewals and rent adjustments to maximize returns
  • Identifying and capitalizing on rental income opportunities within Tarmac's property portfolio
  • Overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and approval of property-related expenses
  • Coordinating with external consultants and agents
Ideal Candidate Profile

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of industrial and commercial property management in the UK, including relevant legislation
  • Experience in property market agency within the UK
  • Expertise in negotiating rent reviews and lease renewals
  • Familiarity with mineral and energy-related properties is advantageous but not mandatory
  • Progress towards or achievement of MRICS qualification
