As an Associate, you will play a key role in supporting our transaction advisory engagements, including commercial due diligence assignments, carbon project development, and deal structuring.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support commercial due diligence assignments by conducting thorough analysis of financial and operational performance of clients.
- Advise on carbon project development and deal structuring, including identifying potential risks and opportunities.
- Support business development through proactive opportunity sourcing and relationship building, as well as responding to donor-funded procurements (EOIs and RFPs).
- Execute technical and financial due diligence on potential investments, including reviewing financial statements, conducting site visits, and analyzing market trends.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners, including government agencies, development finance institutions, and private sector companies.
- Contribute to the development of business strategies and proposals, including identifying potential clients and partners, and developing marketing materials.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as finance, accounting, or business administration.
- 3-5 years of experience in investment banking, management consulting, private equity, or similar.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Fluency in English is required.
- Knowledge of carbon markets and experience developing carbon projects is preferred.
