Role Overview:
- Respond to client and insurer inquiries promptly, consistently exceeding service expectations while adhering to company protocols.
- Negotiate renewals with insurers to secure favorable terms for clients, ensuring high retention rates.
- Maintain active management of tasks, promptly issuing client invoices and addressing outstanding items.
- Facilitate timely debiting of renewals and new business, actively participating in the establishment of finance agreements and resolving account queries.
- Support Account Executives in brokering and onboarding new clients, contributing to the overall success of the team.
- Identify and pursue opportunities for cross-selling and upselling relevant products to existing clients.
- Deliver exceptional service by honoring commitments, meeting deadlines, and ensuring professional communication.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of operational enhancements across the organization.
- Maintain organized files for easy access by colleagues and assist team members with their workload as necessary.
- Comply with regulatory standards and industry codes of practice, including the CII Code of Ethics and company policies.
- Ensure fair treatment of clients and manage potential conflicts of interest effectively.
- Continuously enhance personal knowledge and skills through ongoing professional development, including internal and external training sessions, while staying informed on technical, legal, and market trends.
Candidate Profile:
A minimum of two years of experience in a similar role is required.
- Familiarity with Property, Package Policies, Contractors All Risk, and Commercial Combined.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, particularly over the phone.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent planning, organizational, and time management abilities.
- A collaborative team player with a strong drive for success.
- Proficient negotiation skills.
- Understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance.
- Proficient in client management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ideally, possess or be willing to pursue Cert CII qualification with support from the organization.
Delegated Authorities:
- Understand the responsibilities involved in acting on behalf of insurers, ensuring compliance with regulations and insurer agreements.
This is an excellent opportunity, with the potential for hybrid working arrangements following a training period.
