Global Travel:
This role is ideal for individuals with a background in full-time field service operations, who appreciate a position involving international travel.

Assignments typically last between 1-5 days.

Comprehensive training will be provided in Production to enhance your understanding of components, assembly (both electrical/electronic and mechanical), repairs and refurbishments, product testing, analysis, and troubleshooting skills.

Initially, you will shadow experienced Field Service Engineers during installation and service tasks at client locations.

Upon achieving a satisfactory level of proficiency, you will independently perform a full range of responsibilities.

Field Service Responsibilities:
- Installation of electro-mechanical industrial machinery primarily on printing presses, including both new and retrofit systems.
- Commissioning our product range and documenting necessary measurements.
- Testing equipment to meet customer specifications and providing operator training.

- Conducting training sessions for customers, OEMs, distributors, and staff as needed, both in-house and on-site globally.

Maintenance and Repair:
- Service and repair of existing systems.
- Gaining expertise and knowledge in printing applications and the factors influencing curing processes.
- Traveling within the UK and internationally, primarily working independently but with support from the in-house service team.
In-House Responsibilities:
When stationed in Crawley, you may be tasked with the following duties:
- Assembly skills
- Light mechanical and electrical/electronic assembly
- Repair and refurbishment of components as necessary.
Testing Skills:
- Setting up systems for testing, including assembling mechanical and electrical/electronic components.
- Measuring and recording data using various instruments such as air pressure, temperature, voltage, current, and UV sensors, adhering to quality test protocols.
- Calibration of curing systems within specified control parameters and tolerances.
- Analysis and troubleshooting skills as required.

Essential Qualifications / Skills:
- Electrical Engineering qualifications (City & Guilds level 1, 2 & 3 or HNC/HND and/or 17th/18th edition, or electrical degree).
- Extensive recent experience in 3-phase industrial environments.
- Recent experience in a field service capacity (including commissioning, service breakdowns, installations, warranty visits, etc.).
- Previous experience with work-related travel.
- Proficient in computer usage.
- Fluent in English.
- Must be available for worldwide travel without restrictions.
- Valid manual driving license with no more than 3 points.

Desirable Qualifications / Skills:
- Familiarity with PCBs & PLCs (including program uploads and fault record interrogation for troubleshooting).
- Proficiency in additional European languages (beyond English).
