Job Opportunity for HIAB Qualified Class 2 Drivers

Driver Hire, the UK's largest specialist transport and logistics recruitment company, is seeking a number of HIAB qualified Class 2 Drivers to support our local clients with their temporary staffing needs.

The work involves driving for a range of different clients each week, with flexible working days to suit the successful candidate. The clients we support are based in the south of the region, from Hook to Newbury and Thatcham in the north.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out designated duties in a professional and timely manner.
  • Perform daily vehicle maintenance checks.
  • Be reliable, polite, and friendly, providing good customer service as the face of Driver Hire.
  • Have the ability to plan routes and use a Sat Nav system.
Requirements
  • Full UK Driving Licence, with at least 1 year's experience.
  • Valid CPC Card.
  • Valid Digital Tacho.
  • Valid HIAB Qualification.
  • Previous commercial driving work is advantageous but not essential.
  • Verifiable References.
Hours, Pay & Benefits
  • £20.92 per hour (including holiday pay, basic rate £18.67 ph) - Mondays to Fridays, with enhanced rates for weekend work.
  • Guaranteed minimum of 8 hours per day (full day), or 4 hours (half day).
  • Flexible working days to suit the candidate.
  • Weekly Paid.
