This full-time position requires dedication and a passion for fostering a positive learning environment for students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Offer individualized assistance to students with SEMH challenges, ensuring their unique educational requirements are fulfilled.
- Engage with non-verbal pupils in Key Stage 1, adapting communication methods to meet their needs.
- Collaborate with the classroom teacher and other specialists to create and execute tailored educational strategies.
- Track and assess student development and progress.
- Maintain close communication with parents and guardians, providing insights into their child's achievements and challenges.
- Apply effective behavior management techniques to cultivate a nurturing and supportive atmosphere for learning.
Qualifications:
- Experience in supporting children with Special Educational Needs, whether through paid or voluntary roles.
- Proficient in behavior management.
- Possess a current DBS registered on the Update Service.
