We are seeking a highly skilled Service Technician to join our team. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing heavy equipment, including cranes, in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment, including cranes, to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of equipment to identify potential issues and implement preventative maintenance measures.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to resolve complex technical issues and ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional service.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • Apprentice-trained in engineering, electrical, hydraulic, or mechanical fields.
  • Ability to read schematics and understand how to fix a problem from a schematic drawing.
  • Knowledgeable of preventative maintenance on offshore/marine/port cranes.
  • Apprenticed served in either Electrical engineering/hydraulic engineering.
  • Experienced with load monitoring equipment; MIPEG, PAT.
  • BOSIET trained an advantage.
  • Able to work at heights.
  • IT literate and able to write reports.
