Role and Responsibilities

As a Simulator Engineer III at CAE, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining cutting-edge simulators for the aviation industry. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the highest level of performance, safety, and reliability in our simulators.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform complex assignments in office, on-site, field, and laboratory settings.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to diagnose and resolve complex simulator and aircraft systems problems.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance tasks to ensure optimal simulator performance.
  • Train and mentor junior technicians in basic skills and technical training.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in simulation technology.
Requirements:
  • 2-year technical degree or equivalent related training.
  • Direct simulation experience is beneficial, but candidates with experience in avionics, electrical, electronics, or mechanical fields can also be considered.
  • Proficiency with software diagnostics and utilities on at least one type of simulator.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Fluency in English.
