Join Our Team as an AI Supercomputing Infrastructure Engineer

The Society of Research Software Engineering is seeking a talented individual to join our team as an AI Supercomputing Infrastructure Engineer. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a new national supercomputing centre from scratch and contribute to the adoption of open AI at a national scale.

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled engineer to design, develop, and maintain the AI infrastructure that will support our research activities. The successful candidate will have a strong background in research software engineering and research infrastructure engineering, with experience in sys/net/dev/sec/ml/ops and research software engineering.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop AI infrastructure to support research activities
  • Collaborate with the team to combine skills across sys/net/dev/sec/ml/ops and research software engineering
  • Work on a hybrid role, with a blended approach to on-campus and home working
  • Enjoy flexible working hours, with 35 hours per week
  • Take advantage of 40 days leave, including 25 days of your choice, 8 closure days, and bank holidays
  • Participate in paid leave for public duties and volunteering
