Principal Fire Engineer

Our client, a renowned International Fire Engineering specialist, is seeking a highly skilled Principal Fire Engineer to join their Birmingham office.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned fire safety professional to take on a leadership role and contribute to a diverse and challenging workload. As a Principal Fire Engineer, you will be responsible for managing a small team of engineers and collaborating with colleagues to deliver high-quality projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of engineers to achieve project goals and objectives
  • Develop and implement fire safety strategies for complex projects
  • Collaborate with colleagues to deliver high-quality projects and meet client expectations
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with fire safety regulations
  • Prepare and present reports and recommendations to clients and stakeholders
Requirements
  • Proven experience in fire safety strategy development and implementation
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues
  • Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently, prioritizing tasks and managing deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively
